A really nice weekend came to an end for the kitesurf crew of Sri Lanka. Julian was soo relieved that his students won Gold at the SAF games. Yes, he decided to go kitesurfing and not to Bangladesh! The winds were North East so we had to make do with the main lagoon, however, we did do a offshore kite session - thanks Johnny for picking us up from the middle of the ocean!
Highlights of the trip would be;
1. Seeing the dolphins (not while kitesurfing - sigh)
2. The nights under the stars
3. Busted tire - #1 Keshini #2 Michi
4. Busted car buffer - #1 Keshini #2 Mischi
5. A whole day of sleeping for Julian
6. Kiting in the Puttalam Lagoon
Dolphin Beach, run by Johnathan Martynstien is a nice place for weekend getaway. The food is great and staff attentive. Johnnathan also runs one of the only professionally run Dolphing/ Whale Watching excursions (complete with Life Jackets, Trained Boatman, Boats with Shelter and ofcourse GPS!)
