Back to Arugam Bay - Sept 3rd - 7th '09!

Its about the 4th time this season and the wind looks good in Arugam Bay! Even if Windguru is wrong, at least we will have some nice waves to surf on. Either way, the long weekend is set to be a blast! You'd probably see us if you are there - come say hi! Perhaps you can have a go at kitesurfing - not, haha.

In other news,

• Keshini is well on her way to become the first proper Lankan Kiteboarder. Thats if she survives the board transitions.
• Mischi is currently enjoying (I think) the miserable cold weather in Switzerland and should be back soon to resume his teaching.
• Mondy, our Italian windsurf enthusiast, is actually now considering a switch to Kitesurfing after seeing the amount of fun we kiters have.

Hikkaduwa Beach Fest? Nah we STILL rather be Kitesurfing!

One year down the line and we still have not change our minds, a weekend in Hikkaduwa at the Beach Fest is nothing compared to a weekend Kitesurfing up North. Haha, you try have fun people, we are off to Kitesurf!

'We're not crazy, we just love Kiting!'

We live in paradise, an adventure is just a few hours away - be it kitesurfing, white water rafting, kayaking, cycling, surfing, diving, climbing....when its there why not do it? You dont need to bust a lot of funds. You dont even need a vehicle - travel by bus if you have to. Arugam Bay - Adams' Peak - Trincomalee -Easy.

With all these at our doorstep, we just need to enjoy them. This is what we do - week after week, and we are called crazy for this. I think its crazy if you live life working etc and go outstation for a few days a year and call that a holiday, your break.

Whatever you say, we head out again. On an adventure. Haha!

We head to paradise! Arugam Bay. Yahoooo. Hope for nice waves in the morning and then windy afternoons. Surfing in the morning, Kitesurfing in the afternoon.
